Husband's Knee Replacement Surgery

My Husband had the surgery on Feb. 11th.  It's been a month and 4 days.  He is still in a lot of pain.  I don't see him going back to work full-time after he sees the Dr. on the 24th.  My Husband thinks he's going back to work on the 25th.  We'll see.  

It's been quite a process, I must say.  He had a lot of trouble getting approved for Celebrex & Lyrica after being discharged from the hospital.  The insurance company took it's sweet time approving it.  The Celebrex took 2 weeks and the Lyrica took just about a month.

His advise to anyone who is in need of this surgery is:  Wait as lot as you can't stand it anymore.

Black Friday Happiness!!!!!!!

My LYS (local yarn shop), where I take classes, had a Black Friday sale and a raffle.  I won a $25.00 gift certificate.  SO, I purchased these...... The hank is Cascade Lana d'oro color #1072 and mixing it with Rozetti Polaris Color #71003 "Aries".  I'm knitting the "GAP-tastic Cowl.  It's all Seed Stitch.  , which is one of my favorite stitches.
